These guidelines help keep VoteSensus a safe, fair, and respectful place for everyone to share opinions and discover what others think.

1. Be Respectful Treat everyone with respect. No harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, or personal attacks. Respect differences in opinions and backgrounds.
Everyone should be able to participate without being targeted, mocked, threatened, or personally attacked.
2. No Harassment or Abuse Do not harass, intimidate, or target anyone. This includes unwanted comments, stalking, or making others feel unsafe.
Abuse, intimidation, repeated unwanted contact, or behaviour that makes others feel unsafe is not allowed.
3. No Interference with the Platform Do not attempt to hack, disrupt, scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the proper functioning of VoteSensus or our servers.
Do not misuse VoteSensus systems, interrupt service, or attempt to access areas or data you are not authorised to use.
4. No Impersonation Do not impersonate anyone, including other users, public figures, or organisations. Use your own identity when participating.
Accounts, display names, submissions, or behaviour must not mislead others about who you are or who you represent.
5. Content Standards Do not post illegal, harmful, misleading, or excessively offensive content. No spam, scams, or deceptive links.
Polls, images, links, hashtags, and submitted names should be safe for the community and should not mislead or exploit others.
6. Privacy and Personal Information Do not share or request personal information about yourself or others. Respect everyone's privacy.
Avoid posting private contact details, addresses, sensitive identity information, or anything that could expose someone else.
7. Fair Polling Do not manipulate polls, stuff votes, or create misleading polls. Each vote should reflect a genuine opinion.
Polls should be fair, honest, and presented in a way that lets the community make a genuine choice.
8. Report and Flag Help keep VoteSensus safe. Report content or behaviour that breaks these guidelines. We rely on our community to look out for each other.
Reporting helps moderators identify harmful content and keep the platform safer for everyone.
9. Consequences Breaking these guidelines may result in content removal, warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent ban depending on the severity of the violation.
VoteSensus may take action when behaviour harms the community, platform safety, or the integrity of voting.
